PassionFish is another excellent restaurant in Reston. This seafood eatery emphasizes freshness and quality, serving creative dishes with the best ingredients. It is the perfect spot for fruits de mer connoisseurs and the casual fish eater. While the food and service are high-end, diners enjoy the relaxed and airy environment. PassionFish creates an energized and memorable meal, especially in the summertime when sunlight floods the floor-to-ceiling windows.
 
For daytime adventure, Reston has excellent options for people of all ages. Roer’s Zoofari is a frequented attraction in the area. This 30-acre family zoo offers safari tours, walking tours, and camel rides. Locals also enjoy perusing the produce stalls at Reston Farmers’ Market.

Reston is abundant in fun ways to pass your free time. Aside from being a great dining and retail hub, the Reston Town Center is also a great cultural resource. Reston Art Gallery and Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art are two vibrant and evolving art galleries. 
 
Reston has bountiful hiking and walking opportunities. It is especially beloved for its Washington and Old Dominion Trailhead, a gorgeous hiking system with over 55 miles of pristine walking trails. The Lake Fairfax Park and Lake Thoreau Loop Trail are two other lush and calming outdoor spaces.
 
Finally, one particularly convenient aspect of the area is its metro availability — a convenient way to get around town and venture into the heart of Washington D.C.
